Lake Huschtesee is part of the Teupitz-Köriser lake chain and is situated directly between Lake Schmöldesee and Dahme near Prieros. The bathing area can be reached via the "An der Dubrow" access road, which branches off the 246 highway at Prieros. In front of the KJF Prieros holiday park, a sandy road runs along the right side of the site. Behind the site, the lake can be reached on foot via a short forest path that leads half-left in the direction of the water. The path is part of the Fontane hiking trail. After a few hundred metres a wonderfully wide and sunny sandy beach is reached, framed by pine and oak trees. On the opposite bank, an oxbow lake of the Dahme once flowed into the chain of lakes. The local population originally called the beach "Wild Beach" and it still radiates this charm. A small information board provides information about the geological development around Lake Huschtesee.
