Lake Heidesee is a lake formed by clay mining and is in the town of Halbe, south-east of Teupitz. The bathing area on Puschkinstrasse provides visitors with free access to the lake. Facilities include an ice-cream parlour with outdoor bar, bathroom facilities, a climbing frame, a volleyball pitch and two swimming islands. A limited amount of parking is available. According the Health Department, the water is of excellent quality.
