On the roof of Terminal 1 is the visitor terrace of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). From here, you can watch both large and small airplanes taking off and landing.

In the central check-in hall on level 2, the access points are located. To reach level 2, the central stairs in the terminal can be used. Visitors with mobility impairments can access the visitor terrace via an elevator in the southern entrance area. It is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Important Notes:
  • Please note that the visitor terrace may be closed due to weather conditions or other technical reasons.
  • Small bags and backpacks are allowed.
  • Each guest, including children of all ages, requires their own ticket. Tickets can be purchased on the BER website, in the BER app, or at the ticket kiosks on-site.
