An e-bike is ideal for exploring the vast Elbe-Elster-Land on a bicycle tour. An e-bike rental station is located at the town hall. Four e-bikes for adults and an e-mountain bike for young people are available to rent there. A child seat and bicycle trailer can also be rented. Outside the town hall opening hours, the e-bikes can also be rented at the neighbouring hotel and Café Arcus. E-bikes can be booked on site or conveniently using the “Linka Go” app. Several rental outlets for e-bikes in the Elbe-Elster-Land have organised themselves into a cooperative group so that bikes can be returned to any of the affiliated stations.

Elsterwerda has access to four national cycle paths, for example, the Schwarze Elster Cycle Path, which connects the Lusatian lakeland scenery with the River Elbe. But the numerous local routes also offer impressive insights into the nature and culture of the landscape around the River Elbe and Elster River.
