The “Kiebitzsee”, located near the small town of Falkenberg/Elster, is an oasis of relaxation. The freely accessible lake is surrounded by meadows, fields, pine and deciduous forests and the 70 hectares of water boast a high water quality level. The local recreation area has a 1.35 kilometre long bathing area, some sections with and some without lifeguards. It includes an integrated swimming camp and a nudist bathing area. A giant slide at the enclosed area for non-swimmers provides great fun for the little ones.
