The area around the Schwarze Elster and Kleine Elster rivers lies in the Lower Lusatian broad glacial valley and forms the area known as the Elster lowland with its carrs and vast areas of green that shape the area. This tour passes along one of the most beautiful river landscapes the “Kleine Elster”. Tall shade-giving alder and oak trees on the riverbank alternate with lush meadows. Due to the low flow rate of the Kleine Elster, the tour is also suitable for inexperienced boating tourists. The two towing channels do not constitute a major obstacle, instead represent an interesting experience for all boating tourists.
