The village church in Arnsnesta is one of the half-timbered churches that once shaped the landscape between the River Elbe and the Elster River. The little church was built in the middle of the 17th century, thereby bearing witness to a new beginning after the Thirty Years’ War, in which the village had been badly affected. The nave is connected to a half-timbered tower that was rebuilt in 1748. It was topped with a curved cupola in 1910. The church interior is oriented towards the pulpit altar, which was created from an older pulpit. The ornamental paintings date back to 1914/15.
