The relatively recent gravel pit provides a richly structured body of water with numerous sand banks, drops, bays, promontories and islands. The banks are mostly bare with no vegetation, as the quarry pit was still being excavated until recently. For this reason, the lake can only be entered and fished within selected zones, including close to the Zeischa forest bathing area and in the section directly above that two bays on the eastern shore.

  • Zeischa forest bathing area, 2.86 hectares, reference number C 01-110 and the section above it Zeischa quarry lake, 3.7 hectares, reference number C 01-112. A maximum of three boats is permitted on the water at any one time.
