The gallery is located in Altenau, an old village near Mühlberg on the River Elbe between Torgau and Riesa. The parochial site with a brick church and other buildings serves as a workshop, studio and gallery.

This gives the artist couple the opportunity to work in different genres: ceramics, sculpture (wood, metal, etc.), graphic reproduction, painting, printed graphics, painting, architectural art, interior and exterior design. New exhibitions with guest artists and their own works have been held on the gallery premises twice a year since 2004. The art can be viewed at any time in the old vicarage when booked in advance.
