The paved banks are located about 350 metre downstream from the bridge over the Schwarze Elster River right next to Bad Liebenwerda railway station. The steps parallel to the shore line allow easy access to the boats. A paved boat ramp extends gently into the river and is suitable for the use of canoes and kayaks.

Water tourers who want to take a rest in Bad Liebenwerda can pull their boats ashore here. Visitors can rent canoes at the Bieligkhof farm 200 metres away – transfers to and from entry and exit points on the Schwarze Elster River are possible by arrangement: Fischergasse 16, 04924 Bad Liebenwerda, telephone +49 35341 2009.
