The palace, which lies in the most picturesque countryside in the Grochwitz village district of Herzberg, was constructed in 1732 by the Saxon Prime Minister, Count Heinrich von Brühl. Originally built in a Baroque style, the current building structure mostly dates back to the 19th century. The four-hectare Palace Park surrounds the palace.

Today the Palace houses a hotel, conference rooms and a function room with a wedding room. The palace can only be viewed from the outside.

Architectural era: Baroque (1700)

Condition of the palace: renovated

Floor area of the palace: around 400 square metres
