The medieval nobility seat was converted into the present-day, two-wing complex at the beginning of 18th century. The judicial officer Georg von Siemens acquired the estate in 1857 and transformed the Baroque park into a landscape garden. The basic structures and some of the park architecture have been preserved to this day. A tea house was added in 1906, which was originally the exhibition pavilion of the Dresden Arts and Crafts Exhibition.

The castle is not open to visitors because it is privately owned. The exclusively furnished banquet hall next to the castle with a large open fireplace, oak panelling, a gallery, bar and indirect, warm lighting and candles is ideal as a special wedding location!

Special features in the castle: completely preserved fabric wallpaper (from around 1760) and stucco ceilings with Renaissance paintings (1709)

Architectural period: Baroque (1720)

State of the castle: under renovation

Floor area of the castle: 400 square metres
