There is an alpaca farm in Pießig near Sonnewalde where the farmer started breeding alpacas in 2005. You can get really close to the alpacas here. Their fluffy, voluminous coat gives the alpacas a rather impressive appearance, while their little protruding muzzles are simply cute. Alpacas are animals that you just want to love.

The alpaca farm holds a series of seminars at which visitors can learn much about the rearing and care of the animals. The seminars cover a wide range of topics to make is easier for interested parties and novices to get involved with breeding and handling the wool.

Activities:
  • Sale of hobby and breeding animals

Farm shop range:

  • Alpaca wool clothing, e.g. socks, caps, gloves, jackets, waistcoats, sweaters, coats
  • Cuddly alpaca toys
  • Cushions, bed covers etc.


The products can also be purchased online in the farm’s online shop.
