It is one of Germany’s most important airfields and is the largest in the new federal states. The airfield is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful landscapes in Brandenburg, the Fläming region, nestling in the woodland, heath and lakeland scenery of the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. On warmer days out on the sun terrace, you can even feel part of all the action on the runway.
