As part of the active promotion of cycling in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark, two mobile stations for renting e-bikes were set up in Kleinmachnow as a pilot project in 2021/22. In March 2023, another Mobilstation followed at the Rathausmarkt, where two cargo bikes are also available for rent. The regular e-bikes can be returned flexibly at all three locations; only the cargo bikes have their fixed station at Rathausmarkt and can only be returned there. When returning the electric bike, it must be locked again and coupled with the charging cable. All bikes are equipped with a fixed lock and are locked and unlocked via the sharing app. The battery of the electric bike always has a minimum charge level of 40 percent, so you can comfortably ride an extended test lap. Booking, reservations and rentals are made at all three stations via the "E-Sharing by GP Joule Connect" sharing app.
