A varied tour through the hilly landscape of Hoher Fläming Nature Park: from Eisenhardt Castle in Bad Belzig to the idyllic village of Raben with the Nature Park Centre at the “Alte Brennerei (“Old Distillery”) and Rabenstein Castle to Wiesenburg Castle with its magnificent castle grounds. In between, you pass through sleepy villages and can enjoy views of the vast expanse of the landscape, as well as enjoying Fläming cuisine at one of the numerous restaurants along the way.

The bicycle route is 51 kilometres long. If you would like to do the detour to the station at Wiesenburg Park and the ascent to Rabenstein Castle by bicycle, this makes the tour longer.

  • Bad Belzig with its historic old town, Eisenhardt Castle, SteinTherme spa, spa gardens
  • Lühnsdorf: Brick church, historic four-sided farmyard, now the Landhaus Alte Schmiede – a nice place for a stopover
  • Rädigke: Fieldstone church, historic inn for refreshments with Fläming library, farm museum, mouflon enclosure, hiking trails
  • Raben: Rabenstein Castle, Nature Park Centre with tourist information centre and hands-on exhibition, fieldstone church
  • Wiesenburg: Castle, castle park, historic town centre, themed station with country golf and ball-throwing in the park, mini golf and indoor golf, model vehicle exhibition
  • Schmerwitz: Schmerwitz Estate with Königsblau pottery, farm shop and farm restaurant
  • Hagelberg: Highest summit cross in Brandenburg, Old and New Monument to the Battle of Hagelberg
  • Klein Glien: Glien Estate with Coconat Co-Working, manor park, church

Trail conditions/surface: Combination of moderately frequented asphalt roads, car-free cycle path and roadside cycle path
