This day tour passes right through the Hoher Fläming and Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Parks into the historic town centres of Bad Belzig and Treuenbrietzen. The tour starts in the town of Belzig with its attractions including Eisenhardt Castle, the Church of St Mary, the Reißiger House, birthplace of the composer Carl Gottlieb Reißiger, and the Town Hall. The tour ends at what has become known as the Sabinchen town of Treuenbrietzen, due to its association with the famous German folk song. A visit to the local history museum and a short walk through the historic town centre surrounded by parks are strongly recommended. The Gildenhaus, the Guild House, which is currently the oldest known residence in Treuenbrietzen and one of the oldest half-timbered houses in the state of Brandenburg , is definitely worth a visit.
