This tour takes you through the southern part of the nature park past many typical Fläming fieldstone churches to the Fläming town of Niemegk. On the way there are continuous, beautiful views of the hilly landscape.

You can shorten the 29-kilometre tour to 21 kilometres by going directly from Neuendorf to Rädigke.

Along the route you will find numerous restaurants where you can enjoy Fläming trout and other typical regional dishes to build up your energy for the onward journey.

  • Raben: Rabenstein Castle, Nature Park Centre with tourist information centre and hands-on exhibition, fieldstone church
  • Klein Marzehns: Fieldstone church (key available from the Schonert family, Hauptstrasse 14, telephone +49 33848 90688)
  • Garrey: Fieldstone church (key available Wednesday to Sunday at Eiscafé Lehmann, otherwise Dr. Lubitsch, Dorfstrasse 14, telephone +49 33843 51246), look-out tower Altes Wasserwerk with small exhibition, animal enclosure with donkeys, goats etc.
  • Zixdorf: Fieldstone church (key available from Mr. Dümichen, Alte Dorfstrasse 18, telephone +49 33843 50553)
  • Neuendorf: Fieldstone church without tower (key available from Mr. Huyoff, Dorfstrasse 2, telephone +49 33843 51383)
  • Niemegk: Renaissance town hall, Sankt Johannis church (key available from Mr. Reents, Kirchplatz 6, telephone +49 33843 50415), Saxon posting milestone, historic water tower with brewing museum, liqueur factory and shop
  • Werdermühle: Trout farm with fishing ponds
  • Lühnsdorf: Brick church (open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), historic four-sided farmyard, now Landhaus Alte Schmiede – a nice place to stop over for a meal
  • Buchholz: Fieldstone church (key available from Mrs Benke, telephone +49 33843 920192)
  • Rädigke: Fieldstone church (key from the parish office next to the church, telephone +49 33848 90954), historic inn for refreshments with Fläming library, farm museum, mouflon enclosure, hiking trails

Trail conditions/surface: Combination of moderately frequented asphalt roads, car-free cycle path and roadside cycle path
