The Railway Station and Lakes Tour combines active leisure with culture and culinary delights. Actively experience history and the present in the Zossen region and around Lake Mellensee. Apart from a wide range of opportunities for sports, whether on a wakeboard on the water, on a draisine on land or futuristically on a Segway: there are so many reasons why this region is attractive to both young and old. Numerous nature reserves are to be found along the Railways Station and Lakes Tour. Natural produce and regional provenance are the culinary mantras of the local restaurateurs. The Flair Hotel Reuner, for example, serves produce from its own kitchen garden and game breeding farm. Lovers of history will discover many traces of a turbulent past. Historic railway stations and the Royal Military Railway await you: a sign of times gone by. Former gypsum quarries are still amazing to look at. You can undertake this tour by bike or on foot. Your hosts along the way look forward to hearing your stories. And if you’d prefer to spread the 41 kilometres over several days, simply extend your stay and stay overnight in former rail sleeper compartments in the quaint Schlafwagenhotel. A truly unique experience!
