Experience the fascinating world of birds at first hand from the observation tower on the River Pfefferfließ, a tributary of the Nieplitz. In spring and autumn, migratory birds rest here, while in summer water birds raise their young and the ospreys breed on a mat in the lake. You can also observe large flocks of geese, which overwinter here. Cranes and great white egrets can be observed all year round. An information board in the tower shows the species of birds that can be seen.
