Lake Seddiner See is in the middle of Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. It is about four kilometres long and almost one kilometre wide at its widest point. The banks are mainly overgrown with reeds but can be accessed at a number of locations from small bathing coves with light sand. Because motor boats are not permitted, the lake is idyllically tranquil.
