The over 1,000-year-old town of Beelitz is located in the heart of Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park. It is also known as the pearl of Zauche. The historic town centre has been extensively preserved. Here you will find the Stadtpfarrkirche Sankt Marien church and Sankt Nicolai church, the Wunderblutkapelle chapel at the parish church, the Alte Posthalterei posting station and local history museum and Beelitz water tower. You can explore the town and discover more historic building on a historic town walking tour. The Milan circular hiking trail takes you through the surrounding area of the town. You can find peace and relaxation in the meadows and forests. The town is famous for asparagus, which has been grown here since 1961. Since then, the cultivation areas have been steadily growing. You can find out all about it at the Beelitz Asparagus Museum. Numerous asparagus farms invite you to stop off for a break.
