The small town of Trebbin with its 13 town districts is surrounded by magnificent scenery and picturesque villages. Lying to the south of Berlin and Potsdam, they connect historical traditions to modern life. Guests are met with a warm welcoming charm and a varied and vibrant diversity and are occasionally even greeted by the historical local Marches rogue himself Hans Clauert. Along the town-centre Clauert Tour, which begins at St Anne’s Church, you will discover and get to know some of its history. But Trebbin has much more to offer. It has culture and history aplenty to suit every taste. The town is but a stone’s throw away from the Nuthe-Nieplitz Nature Park, literally on its doorstep, providing a magnificent local recreation area that is guaranteed not to disappoint. From Trebbin, hikes along the Fontane hiking trails F4 and F5, the 66-Lakes Hiking Trail or the European Long-distance Hiking Trail E10. The observation tower at the top of the Löwendorf hill provides a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view. Walking through the Priedeltal Valley brings you to the town district of Blankensee with its farm museum, boardwalk and castle grounds. The pretty little village church or the historic castle grounds in Trebbin and Kleinbeuthen are definitely worth a visit. And be sure to taste the delicious, regional cuisine, especially venison and mushrooms, from the surrounding forests and freshly caught fish. Event venues, such as the Kulturscheune Thyrow cultural centre and the Clauerthaus event hall in Trebbin, offer a unique cultural programme of events. One highlight is the Symphonic Pop Orchestra’s annual music festival – "POP MEETS CLASSIC", which is held in May. We warmly invite you to get to know the 800-year old town and its districts.
