Kuhlowitz is a town district of Bad Belzig and is well-known for Seminarhotel Paulinen Hof at the former local manor house. If you come into Kolowitz from a northerly direction, you will immediately notice the church with its brick blind gable, unique in Fläming, and very steep church roof. The first church on this site was documented in the 15th century. The current church structure is in the Late Gothic style. The bell dated from when the church was originally build and has been dated to 1521. With the exception of the north side, the east, west and south portals have been preserved in their original condition. The chancel and altarpiece date back to the 18th century and the church interior and the furnishings and fittings were redesigned at the beginning of the 20th century. Beautiful carved figures can be seen in the prettily decorated church, which are displayed in a frame on the south wall of the church. The originally came from an altar shrine. Further carved figures have been applied to the north and south walls.
