The Holy Trinity Church was inaugurated in Zossen in 1735. The plastered building has an unusual layout for the region: a transverse nave church with a church tower in front of the central axis of the long south-west side. The architect was Christoph Gottlieb Hedemann. The interior of the church has a minimalist Baroque style and the organ dating from 1960 is built by Potsdam-based organ builder Hans-Joachim Schuke. After a fire in 1873, the town used the repair work needed to carry out some requests for change. For instance, a roof-shaped rising wooden ceiling was installed in the main body of the church, which still shapes the interior.

In the GDR era, parts of the interior were treated with the carcinogenic wood preservative DDT, which led to extensive detoxification measures in the aftermath to this. A special feature of the church can be found in the room behind the pulpit: a ring of straw with which the church was to be set alight at the command of the Prussian commander on the approach of the French in 1813.

Visits can be made Sunday after the service or on Mondays to Fridays by arrangement with the Municipal Office, Kirchplatz 4, telephone +49 3377 335630, or the parish office.
