The late-romantic fieldstone church was built in the first half of the 13th century. Unfortunately it had to be frequently rebuilt due to destruction and fires. The special feature of this church is its interior dating back to the 17th and 18th century. Visitors can view the baroque beamed ceiling and the half-timbered tower. The church is now a listed building.

After 2013/2014, measures were taken to combat the dry rot and rotten beams and the building can now be fully used again. Since then, donations have been diligently collected for further construction projects.

The church is located on the Luther-Tetzel Way.
