Originally set up as a fruit and vegetable stall at weekly markets, the farm shop in the Ludwigsfelde village district of Siethen today sells an extensive range of potatoes, as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables from regional producers. The farm shop also sells sauerkraut and sour cucumbers from the Spreewald region, wine from the Weingut Hanke wine estate in Jessen (Saxony-Anhalt) and much more. The fundamental aim of the potato farm is the traditional cultivation of uncontaminated fruit and vegetables, including potatoes, strawberries, asparagus, cherries, grapes, plums and apples.
