Weidelandfarm is run as a family business by the Engelhardt family. In Nuthe Nieplitz Nature Park, Weidelandfarm farms about 300 hectares of extensive pastureland in Rieben, a district of the asparagus town of Beelitz. The land is within the “Nuthe-Nieplitz- Niederung” lowland nature reserve. Cows and their calves graze there all year round. They are fed exclusively on grass and hay.

In November 2019, they introduced species-appropriate, mobile poultry farming. This form of poultry farming involves moving the poultry trailers once a week so the birds always have access to fresh grassland without destroying the turf.

Weidelandfarm also offers a delivery service for the towns of Beelitz and Michendorf. Once a week (usually Thursday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., minimum order Euro 5), eggs, sausages, pasta and egg liqueur can be delivered right to the door. Meat can only be collected from the farm by arrangement subject to pre-ordering. Animals are slaughtered once a month. Orders can simply be placed by e-mail or telephone.

Tip:

In addition to the farm shop, the basic range, eggs and sausages can also be bought from the contactless stall at the front of the property.

The fenced-in meadow with free-running hens and goats is freely accessible and can be visited at any time.
