Gutspark Dahlen manor, along with Wiesenburg castle grounds, is one of the most dendrologically significant sites in Hohe Fläming Nature park. From 1840 the nine hectare park was set out in what was known as the English style. Historic vistas lead from the castle to the cemetery beyond. The estate park was connected to the landscape by avenues and rows of trees. When the park was expanded at the end of the 19th century, the current pathways and pond areas were installed.

The former manor house in the Schinkel style is now a nursing and care home. The public estate park is managed on a voluntary basis by a friends’ association.

A visit to the park is worth it at any time of year, but the abundant blossoms in spring really are quite impressive. Beginning with the snowdrops, blossoming continued until the woodruff and lily-of-the-valley are out, before they are almost entirely shaded over by the leaf canopy of the trees.
