Not only do the famous SteinTherme baths in Bad Belzig attract visitors from all over Germany, they are also located in a beautiful, modern park. When the thermal spa was built in 2002, the adjoining spa gardens were also given a facelift.
In the upper section, geometric flowerbeds are arranged like a belt around the domed roofs of SteinTherme. Low-growing herbs and grasses provide the flair of an open heath landscape, interspersed with square seating elements and edging. In addition to intricately designed open spaces, a park is also brought to life by surprises, which can be found just a few metres beyond the thermal baths in the Kurpark Belzig spa gardens: A sunken garden with a flat pool of water, framed by heavily planted flower boxes and sculptures shaded by fruit trees, offers a retreat and place of transformation throughout the seasons. The extended route from the SteinTherme main entrance takes visitors right to this oasis in the spa gardens.
