The Beelitz city park directly south of the historic old town has become a real gem for those seeking recreation in the Fläming region. Created for the State Horticultural Show in 2022, visitors will be able to take a relaxed stroll and unwind here in the years to come. A highlight for families is the large play area located in the middle of the park around the almost eleven-meter-high asparagus tower. Whether it's a Slavic ship, a giant swing or a football field, children's hearts are guaranteed to beat faster here!

Around the playground, pastures and natural wetlands alternate with horticultural areas such as the farmer's garden in front of the asparagus museum or the large rose bed by the cocktail boat. Over the mill pond with its impressive fountain one can let the view wander into the wide landscape of the Nuthe-Nieplitz lowlands. The Mühlenfließ illustrates the former course of a Nieplitz side arm and connects the Asparagus Museum with the newly opened Mill Museum. In the old water mill, visitors of all ages can not only experience historical technology up close, but also learn to understand complex processes of the miller's trade through modern animations. In addition, visual artists exhibit in changing shows in the remise opposite.

The open-air stage, built as part of the State Garden Show, is a permanent anchor for art and culture in the region. Whether an evening with the bands of the city of Beelitz and its districts or concerts by world stars: the range of culture is unique and offers highlights for every taste. Before the concert visit, the park invites you to stroll and in the water feature next to the stage area, a variety of aquatic plants can be explored.

The Beelitz City Park is accessible free of charge and open daily until nightfall. Park visitors can park their cars at the entrance behind the fire station. The area can be easily reached by bus from the bus stops Am Lustgarten and Ärztehaus.
