  The castle tavern is located in the historic courtyard of Eisenhardt Castle. Those who park in the lot just before the castle gate avoid the steep climb (up to 23% gradient from the road). The courtyard is paved with rough cobblestones. However, there is a level, easily walkable path along the outer edge of the courtyard that leads to the beer garden.
