Almost within sight of the south of Berlin (only 30 minutes from the city center of Berlin and 20 minutes distance from Potsdam), you will find near Großbeeren the old village core of Diedersdorf with its event location "Chateau Diedersdorf". It offers space up to 5,000 guests and is opened 365 days a year in a fantastic landscape. The restaurant "horsestable" is open daily 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.. Around the chateau you will find marked bike routes , hiking trails and in the park a beer garden with 3,000 seats. For children there is a free playground, an indoor "Schoeller-game paradise" (including outdoor facilities) and also pony rides at “Hennings horse farm” next door. An interesting calendar offers the whole year various events. As an example organized walks with the ranger, guided tours at the own distillery, cutting christmas trees in the forest, carriage rides, dinner theater, traditional autumnal hunting-events and big partys with live music and up to 2,000 guests at the event "Berlin-Brandenburgisches Oktoberfest" ! The chateau offers also whole year a lot of possibilities for company parties, family reunions, weddings and meetings. In addition to these various events the "Chateau Diedersdorf" has nice rooms for accommodation: 8 luxurious suites in the restored ****Hotel and in the country inn 36 double-rooms. Card payment is possible. Free wireless internet access for guests.
