This country restaurant in the Ludwigsfeld town district of Groß Schulzendorf lies right by the village green, and its colourful facade and idyllic veranda, visible from far away, make for the perfect place to hang around. The restaurant has mostly been under family ownership since it was built in 1879 – today, it is the sixth generation of the family that cooks for guests. The kitchen offers German cuisine with a strong focus on ingredients and dishes taken from the local region. Parties for up to 120 people can be hosted in various rooms.

If you’re on a bicycle tour around Ludwigsfelde or the Rangsdorf Nature Reserve, you should definitely plan to stop by the Alter Dorfkrug. If you’d like to stay for longer, the Spahn family will be happy to arrange overnight accommodation nearby on request.
