The old four-sided farmyard in Schäpe was discovered and bought by Josef Jakobs in 1996 in quite a derelict state. Over the years that followed, it became Josef Jakobs Spargelhof, an asparagus farm that will enchant you with its cosy, country ambience. This farm is in the heart of the asparagus growing region.

Enjoy the delicious range of dishes in the sunshine or under the shade of the farmyard’s horse chestnut tree - or in the barn - with tasty asparagus dishes from the beginning of April to chanterelle and blueberry specialities in summer, pumpkin and game in autumn to goose on St. Martin’s Day and at Christmas.

You can purchase regional products according to the season in the adjoining farm shop.
