Founded inn 1848 as a colonial goods business and farm, the country restaurant is still owned by the family. The rooms are decorated with lots of antique items from village life in the 18th and 19th centuries and photograph show the family’s history. In summer the terrace and beer garden provide somewhere to linger for a while. The menu mainly consists of Märkisch traditional fare, fish and game from the region and traditional, home-made cakes. The country restaurant is well-known beyond the region for its slaughter festivals, which enrich the event calendar in February.
