Route description

The tour starts in the old centre of the village of Wildenbruch. It passes the old fortified church dating back to the 13th century, and then crosses the Dorfstrasse to the small bathing area on Lake Seddiner See. At this point, the Lake Seddiner See circular trail continues along dirt tracks and the lakeside to the village of Kähnsdorf. The Kähnsdorf Kulturscheune cultural centre regularly hosts art exhibitions or events. The Findlingsgarten, a boulder park on Lake Seddiner, is just a short walk from the hiking route as you leave Kähnsdorf, with wealth of information on the geological history of the region. It is worth taking a short break on the water in Seddin and hiring equipment from the local boat rental company. The hiking trail continues along the northern shore of the lake to the edge of the Lake Seddiner See golf club. From here, it passes along dirt tracks or through the central path through the golf course back to Wildenbruch.

Sights
