The ruins of the medieval cobblestone church is all that remains of the former settlement of Dangelsdorf. The deserted village of Dangelsdorf and the remaining ruins are in Hohe Fläming Nature Park, not far from the new village which was also called Dangelsdorf and was established later on - now a district of the municipality of Görzke. The thick forest of Nonnenheide surrounds the ruins and the Riembach stream, the only tributary to the River Buckau, rises nearby.

The Burgenwanderweg (castle hiking trail) and the Naturpark-Rundwanderweg 62 (nature park circular hiking trail) pass by the Dangelsdorf church ruins.
