In the north east corner of the building there is an over-sized statue of Saint Mauritius, the patron saint of the town. It shows that at the time Jüterbog belonged to the territory of the Archbishop of Magdeburg. Letters of indulgence were sold here on his behalf in spring 1517.

The regency room, assembly hall and courthouse arcade can be viewed on a guided tour of the town. The small wedding chamber is also in the building.
