The Burg Hotel Ziesar is situated in the historic town of Ziesar where its former bishop's residence Burg Ziesar is. Albrecht the Bear - the first Margrave of Brandenburg - is considered the founder of Mark Brandenburg and conquered Ziesar back from the Slavs in 1157. Ziesar Castle and its museum can be visited every day during the season except Mondays.
