Directly opposite the village forge on Blankenfeld village green is the former blacksmith’s, which is now home to Pension Dietz. The guest house has five double rooms and two single rooms, all of which have their own bathroom with shower and toilet. A self-catering kitchen is available free of charge. On request, breakfast can also be booked. Grocery shops are within walking distance and, just a few buildings away, Gasthaus Zur Eiche serves traditional, hearty cuisine.

Berlin’s city centre are easy to reach from Blankenfelde (by S-Bahn (rapid transit train) and rB (regional train network)). Nature lovers can head off on a hike in the direction of Lake Rangsdorfer See and enjoy the quiet of the bird sanctuary or carry on southward along the Baruth Line hiking trail.
