The forest pension Buchholzmühle with its 34 beds is located directly in the forest - the Buchholz - at the small river Rossel. With great attention to detail, antique furniture was refurbished, which determines the charm of the house and takes you back to the 20s. The Waldpension offers a large vacation apartment for up to 14 people on approx. 125 m², 4 double rooms, 2 apartments and a single room. In addition, a charming garden house from the 20s has been lovingly restored. The cottage, located in the middle of the park, can accommodate 2 people, for whom romantic coziness is more important than the highest comfort.

Due to the large number of rooms, the guesthouse is an ideal place for family reunions or workshops. Sleeping is in antique beds, which have been converted to provide modern comfort. There is plenty of parking space and room to relax on the approx. 3.5 hectare site: you can sit on the jetty or dangle your feet in the cool little river. The large tree population provides many shady spots even on hot days.There is also a campfire site, a sauna, a natural Kneipp path, a junk store, a cozy breakfast room where products from the own garden and from the region are offered, among others. Delicious pies and cakes are available by advance order. The spacious landscaped park with deer and fountain reminds of old times. For children there is a large sandbox with playhouse, swings, mini pigs, chickens, cats and our dog Emma.

Since autumn 2023 the Buchholzmühle belongs to the circle of handpicked Landlust Hotels. Landlust Hotels are characterized by an individual touch, by the focus on high-quality and regional cuisine, closeness to nature, sustainability and the personal handwriting of the hosts.
