The granary belonging to the castle ensemble is the largest half-timbered building in the city of Dahme/Mark. The Technik- und Heimatverein Dahme/Mark e.V. has set itself the task of preserving this historic individual monument and filling it with life.

The association is currently exhibiting its collection of technical exhibits here. For example, a large variety of GDR everyday mopeds and motorcycles can be admired. Approx. 70 motorized two-wheelers can be viewed on an area of around 400 m². The oldest motorcycle is from 1928 and was built in Elsterwerda. In keeping with the era of the SIMSON and MZ machines, MINOL petrol stations and accessories expand the exhibition. A historic locksmith's workshop makes the hearts of all technicians beat faster.

Visits can be arranged individually by phone. The granary also opens its doors on the annual Open Monument Day in September.
