The Höhne family, producers and sellers of drinks in Niemegk for generations, has maintained and lovingly restored the old water tower, saving it from demolition. Today the water tower is a listed monument. Inside it there is a small brewing museum featuring exhibits that the family-run business has gathered down the years. From filling machines to bottle cleaning or sealing facilities, all the way to a collection of historic glass bottles – the collection is incredibly diverse.

There is also a liquor manufactory in the building and a small farm shop on the ground floor. If you can’t make it to Fläming just yet, you can order a selection of lemonade, beers and liquors, plus sausage products and confectionery, in the online shop. The manufactory shop is also happy to take orders by telephone and to advise about its range.
