A highlight of the museum is the historic attic with its extraordinary shingle roof construction, which you can only admire here. The half-timbered dormer window with its clay-and-brick infill is one of the oldest and most authentic parts of the building, transporting you directly to bygone eras. Please note that access to the attic requires some caution, as the stairs are steep and the ceilings are low.
