The oldest surviving building in the city, built in 1711, now houses the local history museum. Are you interested in history? Particularly captivating are the true-to-life model of the city from 1890, as well as rare maps, drawings, and photographs that paint a vivid picture of Teltow's development and structure. A highlight of the museum is the historic attic with its extraordinary shingle roof construction, which you can only admire here. The half-timbered dormer window with its clay-and-brick infill is one of the oldest and most authentic parts of the building, transporting you directly to bygone eras. Experience these fascinating insights during a special event or by individual arrangement – ​​an adventure that is unforgettable for history buffs and the simply curious. Please note that access to the attic requires some caution, as the stairs are steep and the ceilings are low. The local history museum is run by the Teltow 1990 Local History Association and looks forward to your visit! The "House" is sure to be a true treasure for you. Numerous exhibits offer detailed information about the town, its crafts, and agriculture. The historical objects in the exhibition tell the story of the lives of Teltow's citizens and farmers.
