A special cultural landscape has emerged between the rivers Nuthe, Dahme, Spree and the Baruther Urstrom Valley – the Teltow. The name is used for the name of the district and in elements in the district’s coat of arms. The landscape of the Teltow was largely influenced by crafts and trade, industry, large settlements, transport and military of the metropolitan region. The research, collection and exhibition work of the Museum of the Teltow is dedicated to this special history and natural history in the northern part of the Teltow-Fläming region.

  • Museum des Teltow in Wünsdorf
The museum is housed in the former village school in Wünsdorf, dating from 1898. The renovated light brick building is set in a spacious garden, which is also home to elements of nature and educational projects relating to hunting, such as "Nature as a place of learning”: There are also information panels on dendrology, the scientific study of trees, and on the tracks of native animals.

In addition to the permanent exhibitions "Rays of light from the history of the Teltow landscape” and “Nature as a place of learning”, the museum also presents changing special exhibitions, events, lectures and guided tours.
