If you want to skate where once only a select few were allowed to take a step behind the fence, the best thing to do is roll over the former military properties around Altes Lager. A large part of the route leads through the area, which for many decades was reserved exclusively for uniformed personnel. You can start your tour at the DAS HAUS cultural center in Altes Lager, for example. There, at the information point Flaeming-Skate, you can get the appropriate material and then you can go on the track. At the go-kart track Altes Lager you should definitely make a pit stop and get a taste of racing air. Not far away, the Shelter "Albrecht" shows how a former shelter for a MIG 23 was turned into a creative home. There is also much to discover in the surrounding villages.
