You can escape the skater hype on the main route of the RK1 / RK5 if you turn off to Gottow on the way. The S3 branches off behind Jänickendorf at kilometer 8.863 to Gottow. About 4 km follow through wooded terrain. The trolley line is crossed for the second time and it goes slightly uphill through the "Dümder Berge". Their highest representative, the "Schlangenberg", is about 70 meters high. At the entrance to Gottow, the route goes downhill again. In summer, a refreshing swim in Gottow Lake beckons as a reward! The bathing area is regularly inspected by the health department of the district of Teltow-Fläming.

There are also several rest areas on this section and a refuge to catch your breath. Refreshments are offered by rustic restaurants in Jänickendorf and Gottow. You can return to Luckenwalde either on the same route or via the cycle path from Gottow to Luckenwalde, which has been completely rebuilt and made suitable for skaters. In Luckenwalde, the more or less skate-suitable footpaths lead back to the starting point. The connection of the bike path to the skating track in Luckenwalde is currently being planned.

Note: The maintenance and care of the routes is one of the constant tasks in the Flaeming-Skate-Region. So it can always come to short-term restrictions on sections of individual routes. Please inform yourself about this aspect on the Flaeming-Skate homepage in time before your arrival.
