A modern event centre, housing the town information centre, the council archive and the council library alongside a large hall, was built in the north of the historic town centre of Wittenberg as part of the redesign and transformation of the brownfield site. The building serves as a central reception for visitors and helps increase tourists’ understanding of Reformation history as well as the entire history of the town of Wittenberg.
