The indigenous animals zoo at Dahme castle grounds is worth a visit at any time of year. On the seven and a half hectare site, over 90 animals of 16 different species await visitors: Fallow deer, miniature donkeys, Cameroon sheep, guinea pigs and cute bunnies. The castle grounds with their old trees have been a protected monument since 1985. A children's playground and the castle pond are an inviting place for a quiet time outside. The Flaeming-Skate trail runs right along the fallow deer enclosure.
